Learning and Skills Service – Scottish Prison Service
HMP Low Moss (Near Glasgow/Bishopbriggs) & HMP Greenock
The above salary is pro-rata to the hours worked and is subject to pending job evaluation
Temporary until 31st July 2025
21 hours per week
We are looking to recruit an Administrator to assist the Team Leader in a wide range of administrative tasks. You should have a flexible approach to a changing workload in a challenging environment and be a source of information to prisoners on what we can offer within the Learning Centre and refer them to the correct member of staff.
You will be educated to NC/SVQ Level 2 or equivalent (SCQF Level 5) and have proven experience of working in a busy office environment. Excellent IT and Communication skills are essential.
This position is based within the Learning Centre which sits in HMP Low Moss and as a result of this, the successful candidate will have to complete mandatory in-house SPS Training, which includes classroom work as well as scenario based physical movements for self-defence purposes.
